Description
The OPC Server for ABB Controllers is an OPC 2.0 compliant
server that enables data interchange between the DD-Connect
RTXHDB OPC Client via ABB Information Management Station (IMS).
The OPC Server resides on the IMS computer and utilizes the
ABB AdvaInform API to communicate with the controllers. Please
note that the DD-Connect RTXHDB OPC Client only uses the read
access function to store data on the RTXHDB historical database
and does not use the write access function. The OPC server is
self-optimizing and auto-configuring to provide easy, efficient,
and reliable data transfer.
