Marie Sylla-Dixon is the chief diversity officer at Raytheon Technologies. She is responsible for advancing diversity, equity and inclusion across the organization through initiatives focused on talent management, community engagement, public policy and suppliers.
Sylla-Dixon has more than 20 years of experience in government affairs, public affairs, corporate social responsibility, and diversity and inclusion. Most recently, she was vice president, Government and External Affairs, for T-Mobile US, where she led the operational management of the company’s diversity and inclusion commitments, including a community investment initiative focused on workforce development, digital literacy and adoption, and programming for underserved and underrepresented communities. Prior to T-Mobile, Ms. Sylla-Dixon served as vice president, Government Relations, for Verizon Communications.
She is a recipient of the Most Influential and Inspiring Leadership Award from The Rainbow PUSH Coalition and served on the Federal Communications Commission’s Advisory Committee on Diversity and Digital Empowerment. She is a board member of All In Together, City Year Washington DC, the National Hispanic Media Coalition and the National Urban League’s Policy Solutions Council.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Hampton University and a juris doctorate from the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law.
