How has COVID-19 impacted hiring at Raytheon Technologies?
We currently have more than 2,700 openings across our defense business globally, many in engineering-related positions. We are working closely with our commercial aerospace employees to transition those with the necessary skillsets into those positions when possible.
Additionally, we’ve significantly changed our hiring, internship and onboarding programs:
- We are using virtual interviewing much more broadly than before, as well as virtual career fairs. Some of our businesses are also hosting full virtual interview days, consisting of a virtual company overview by a Raytheon Technologies executive, followed by multiple virtual interviews with several hiring teams and approximately 125 candidates attending. We are also preparing for what is shaping up to be a mostly virtual Fall Campus season.
- Most or our new hires are onboarded virtually.
- Internships for non-essential roles will be virtual and we are adjusting programming accordingly.
- Our signature rotational Leadership Development Programs have also made adjustments and will hold virtual events such as orientation and graduation.
How can I search and apply for open jobs?
Visit the Careers Overview page and use the search toolbar at the top of the page to view all open jobs by keyword or location. From that page, you can also filter your search to see open jobs by business.
I have been asked to interview or I am being given an offer via Google Hangouts, Skype, Facebook, etc. Is this legitimate?
No. We conduct all electronic correspondence using email addresses that end in "rtx.com" or via our applicant tracking systems, Brassring or Workday Recruiting. We do not use Google Hangouts, Skype or Facebook Live to make job offers or interview candidates.
We are aware of fraudulent attempts to collect job applicants' personal information by perpetrators posing as hiring managers or recruiters.

What happens to my information if I created a profile with Otis or Carrier?
If you applied to Otis or Carrier, which separated from United Technologies, that company will keep your application and contact information. If your profile is not connected to any open job application, Carrier, Otis and Raytheon Technologies will keep your application and contact information. If you want to view, update or delete your data, you can contact each company using the contact details in their respective privacy notice.
