Ellen M. Pawlikowski

General, U.S. Air Force (Ret.) and Former Commander, Air Force Materiel Command

Ellen M. Pawlikowski is a member of the RTX Board of Directors. She brings expertise in senior leadership, engineering, the defense industry and technology.

Gen. Pawlikowski served as a member of the Raytheon Company board from 2018 until the closing of the merger between Raytheon Company and United Technologies Corporation, when she was appointed to the RTX board.

She is a retired four-star general and former commander of the U.S. Air Force Materiel Command. In her 40-year Air Force career she held numerous technical management, leadership and staff positions, including with the Space and Missile Systems Center and the Air Force Research Laboratory.

Gen. Pawlikowski serves on the boards of directors ofVelo3D, Applied Research Associates, SRI International and CEM Defense Materials. She is also the chairperson of Air Force Studies Board, a member of the United States National Academy of Engineers and a fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

She holds a doctorate in chemical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
