Innovating an extraordinary future — together
As an industry, we face systemic challenges to recruiting and hiring the highly skilled talent required to power our technical innovation and complex development, particularly for engineers. Research predicts the aviation sector will face a shortage of roughly 30,000 engineers, more than 600,000 maintenance technicians and 40,000 mechanics required to meet current demand, with that number increasing through 2030.
There are different paths that can lead to a meaningful career at RTX. We seek to build talent pipelines with people who are motivated by challenge and energized to work on high-performing teams to drive business performance. Opportunities to support recruitment, professional development, and engagement through our relationships with these partners are open to all employees at RTX.
