Pairing fighters with Autonomous Collaborative Platforms (ACP) extends operational reach and strengthens resilience in contested environments. Pratt & Whitney has a spectrum of propulsion solutions in development and available today for autonomous vehicles.
Purpose-built propulsion
Pratt & Whitney is developing engine solutions tailored for performance, cost, and lifecycle to deliver capability at the speed and scale required.
Pratt & Whitney Valox™ engine family

The Pratt & Whitney Valox™ engine family is in development, scalable from 500 to 1,800 pounds of thrust. The use of additive manufacturing reduces development and production timelines.
Meeting global demand
Pratt & Whitney is expanding the capability of proven, export-ready engines that are in production.
PT6 engine family

The PT6 engine family offers flexibility and capability for a variety of applications. The PT6 E-Series™, in particular, brings together digital control, high reliability, modularity, easy sustainment, and autonomous-ready integration in a proven, efficient turboprop package.
PW500 engine family

The PW500 family delivers 2,900 to 5,300 pounds of thrust, thanks to an extensive engine test program that expanded the family’s thrust limits. The family also has the capability to provide additional electrical power generation.
PW300 engine family

The PW300 family comprises 4 engine series and 13 models, ranging from 4,700- to 8,000-pound thrust.
F100 engine

Certain autonomous applications require the power of fighter jet engines, such as the Pratt & Whitney F100, which offers more than 29,000 pounds of thrust.
