Maria Della Posta is the president of Pratt & Whitney Canada. She is responsible for executing the company’s vision, evolving its business model and delivering transformative technologies.
Della Posta led the development and global launch of several flagship engines, including the PW800 turbofan engine for next-generation business aircraft, the PT6E-Series, the industry’s first digital engine in its category, and the PW127XT turboprop series, now a new standard for regional aviation.
Under her leadership, the company is advancing hybrid-electric propulsion and accelerating the launch of innovative products and services that fuel growth and enhance customer experience across all segments.
She also spearheaded the creation of the Customer First helpdesk, providing 24/7 support to over 16,000 operators and 69,000 engines worldwide while strengthening global customer relationships.
Della Posta has received numerous accolades throughout her career, including the 2023 James C. Floyd Award for her contributions to Canada’s aerospace industry. She serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the McGill University Health Centre Foundation, sits on the Board of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association and is actively engaged in both philanthropic and industry initiatives.
Della Posta holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.
