Satheeshkumar Kumarasingam
President, Pratt & Whitney Canada
Satheeshkumar (Kumar) Kumarasingam was appointed president of Pratt & Whitney Canada in June 2026. He is responsible for executing the company’s vision, evolving its business model and delivering transformative technologies.
Kumar joined Pratt & Whitney in 1995 as a mechanical engineer and later held positions of increasing responsibility in the engineering, quality, operations, marketing and customer service organizations.
Most recently, Kumar served as chief digital officer at Pratt & Whitney, where he led the development and execution of the company’s business and digital strategy to drive innovation, enhance data analytics and increase customer satisfaction. Prior to that, he was vice president and chief transformation and strategy officer at Pratt & Whitney, where he provided focused leadership to the team responsible for transforming how the company operates, reducing complexity, advancing its digital strategy and leveraging technology to support profitable growth with an agile, industry‑leading operating structure. He also served as vice president of customer service at Pratt & Whitney Canada.
Kumar is active in several professional and community organizations, including serving as a campaign cabinet member for Centraide of Greater Montreal (United Way). Pratt & Whitney is a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary power units
