MyP&WC Power Portal: 10 Years of Growth and What’s Next
By Pratt & Whitney Customer Service
Becoming a one-stop destination for customers
Pratt & Whitney’s MyP&WC Power Portal was introduced in 2015. Since then, it has evolved into a one-stop digital destination, empowering customers to access information, manage their fleet, purchase parts, monitor engine performance through advanced analytics, schedule maintenance events, connect with more P&WC services, and explore a vast library of technical publications available for purchase, with purchased publications conveniently accessible through the portal. The portal has become a vital resource for customers around the world. The number of active users has grown steadily to around 45,000. The site has 130,000 monthly visitors, representing around 11,500 companies.
In tandem with that growth, the site has kept expanding and improving to deliver more value. “Customers are able to do more and more on the portal,” says Bhavini Barot, who has been involved with MyP&WC Power Portal since its inception.
“When the site was first launched, only basic information about a customer’s fleet was provided. Now, they can access details about their fleet’s health, management plan, claims, warranties and other key information. – Bhavini Barot, Product Manager.
New features added regularly
In the decade since the portal was launched, the number of available features has doubled to almost 80 and counting. These additions have expanded the scope of the site, making it easier to access and use existing information.Isabelle Couturier, from Customer Digital Experience, shares an example: “There were over 27,000 technical publications available in PDF format on the portal, but with the e-reader function we implemented for some of these, the experience has become more dynamic, interactive and user-friendly.” For instance, users can now easily purchase a part by clicking on a link inside a publication as they are reading it.
Other notable enhancements include a new document-sharing function that makes it easier for P&WC and customers to securely exchange documents, overcoming previous challenges related to file size and sharing. Customers can also now submit claims digitally, replacing a time-consuming manual process with a faster, more streamlined experience.
In 2026, multi-factor authentication was introduced, giving customers more flexibility in how they access the portal. Users can now sign in using the HYPR app or email authentication.
Feedback continues to drive improvements
The changes and additions to MyP&WC Power Portal are shaped by customers’ needs and feedback. “We’re working very closely with them and listening to what they’re saying to continually improve,” remarks Isabelle.
“We’re continuing to enhance the customer experience by streamlining the platform and making it easier to find what you’re looking for.” – Isabelle Couturier, Product Owner Manager – Customer Digital Experience
As MyP&WC Power Portal continues to evolve, customers may not always be aware of all the features available to them. Recent customer interviews gave Bhavini and Isabelle an opportunity to highlight some of these lesser-known capabilities. For example, customers can customize their landing page with a simple click to showcase the features they use most often. Another useful feature is the option to set up automatic payments for ESP™ invoices.
There are more changes to come. The team behind the portal is currently working on the next generation. While the details have not yet been finalized, the focus will be on enhancing the user experience to make it simpler, more intuitive and more connected. As always, the changes will be driven by what users need.
“Customers will always be at the heart of our decisions. We are working toward making their journey on the portal faster and simpler. It’s come a long way in ten years, and it’s going to get even better in the future.” – Bhavini Barot, Product Manager
When the next generation of MyP&WC Power Portal is ready, Airtime will have all the details. Until then, users can explore the many currently available features and discover the value provided by 10 years of customer-focused evolution.
One feature added recently to the portal is online enrollment for the ESP™ Program. Find out how this makes customers’ lives easier in our Airtime article on the topic.
