Sam Deneke is president of Naval Power for Raytheon, an RTX business specializing in integrated air and missile defense, advanced sensors, space systems, hypersonics and effectors. Raytheon’s Naval Power strategic business unit provides marquee maritime systems including the SM-2™ and SM-6® missiles, SM-3® interceptor, Tomahawk® Cruise Missile, the SPY 6 family of radars, and air systems such as the AIM 9X® SIDEWINDER® missile and Next Gen Jammer.

Previously, Deneke was president of Raytheon’s Air & Space Defense Systems, overseeing programs such as AMRAAM® missile, StormBreaker® smart weapon, AN/TPY 2 Radar and Next-Generation Persistent Infrared Geosynchronous Earth Orbit. Under his leadership, the organization secured a multi billion dollar contract that reinforced consistent supply of critical capabilities service members rely on.

Prior to these roles, he also held senior roles in Operations & Supply Chain, Engineering, Land Warfare & Air Defense and Land Warfare Systems.

Deneke is a trustee for the Chamber of Southern Arizona and serves on the Advisory Board for Chemical and Environmental Engineering at the University of Arizona. He holds degrees in chemical engineering and molecular and cellular biology from the University of Arizona.
