Fire Detection

Our infrared detector identifies flames using two typical ray emission lines, making them superior to optical detectors. Each infrared detector has two sensors that respond to different wavelengths, ensuring high error alarm safety compared to solar irradiation.

DTF-R sensors are extremely fast-responding NTC resistors. They have an extremely robust housing to protect the sensor against water and mechanical damages. Software in the control unit can adjust the alarm temperature of each single sensor individually.

Mechanical point sensors transmit a signal to the corresponding control unit if a fixed temperature is exceeded, indicating a fire. After the fire is extinguished and the temperature had dropped down, the point sensor simply resets.

FIREWIRE is a stainless steel capillary with a coaxially seated electrode that triggers the fire fighting system on detecting changes in resistance and capacitance.
