
Ryan Bunge
Mission Systems
Ryan Bunge is president of Mission Systems at Collins Aerospace, an RTX business. He leads a team of nearly 14,000 employees responsible for delivering critical solutions to help global military and civil customers safely and successfully complete their most complex missions.
Bunge has served in a variety of leadership positions since joining the company in 2006. Most recently, he served as vice president and general manager of the Strategic Defense Solutions portfolio within Mission Systems, where he was responsible for setting the strategy and delivering solutions serving the strategic mission set, including integrated command, control, battle management, secure communications and networking; platform integration across strategic and proprietary platforms; and collaborative mission autonomy solutions.
Bunge’s previous leadership roles include various positions of increasing responsibility in program management, strategy, business development and subcontracts. Prior to joining Collins, he served as an officer in the United States Air Force (USAF), where he held leadership positions in contracting and program management. Bunge was deployed in support of both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
Bunge holds an executive MBA from the University of Iowa, a master’s degree from Central Michigan University and is a graduate of the USAF Academy.
